Java Programming is a required course for Computer Science major students. Why not take advantage of this unique opportunity and take the course in an accelerated format outside of the US? Turkey is a transcontinental country with portion located in Europe and the rest in Asia. The region has been inhabited for thousands of years. The country is rich in history as well as being a modern republic with a growing economy. Istanbul is Turkey's largest city.

Computer Science majors will enroll in "Programming Using Java" - COP2253.
Electrical Engineering students will enroll in "Programming for Engineers" - EEL4834 (Prerequisite: MAC 1114 OR MAC 2311 OR MAC 2312)
Section numbers and special approval information will be provided to the participants of the Java Programming in Turkey Program.

Departure from the US will be on July 28 with arrival in Istanbul on July 29. Students will return to the US on August 13.

Welcoming & Pick-Up
Students will be picked-up from airport and drop-off to campus by university shuttle bus.
”Welcome Breakfast” and “Campus Tour” will take a place at 1st day of class in the campus.

Accommodation
Republica Student Hall will be hosting students during the program. It is 10 min away from the campus and there will be shuttle bus in weekdays between campus and student residence.
Shared room (3-4 people) and breakfast included residence services. Rooms furnished with all the comforts of home including refrigerator, study desk, LCD TV, abundant storage and common areas, comfortable bed and safe box for personal belongings.
