Ecole Superieure du Commerce Exterieur (ESCE) Located in Paris, France ESCE International Office Academic Terms: Fall - September to December Spring - January to June Courses of Study: Courses are available in various Business field topics. French language is a required elective which may be available for non-credit. Information about current course offerings is available on the Courses of Study section of the ESCE International Office Website. Eligibility / Application: Interested students must be admitted to the UWF College of Business major program. Application and Procedures: Standard UWF Study Abroad Application Procedures apply. After approval by UWF, students complete the online application to ESCE. Only UWF students who have been approved by UWF will be reviewed for admission under the UWF/ESCE exchange agreement. Costs / Expenses: Details about estimated expenses at ESCE, can be found in the Welcome Guide available in the International Section of the ESCE website linked above. *Tuition is paid to UWF and UWF Credit is received for exchanges. Housing/Accommodation: Students on exchange to ESCE have access to apartments within walking distance to the ESCE campus - located in central Paris near the Eiffel Tower. Application for accommodation is submitted online after a student is approved for exchange application by UWF. Students can also apply for placement with a family in Paris. Living with a family may require using the subway system to travel to and from school. Home stays are not always located in the same section of the city as the ESCE campus. French Visa Information A student visa is required for students going to France for semester or year. Students must register with CampusFranceUSA to receive an important document required for visa application. Application for a student visa to France requires an in-person appointment at the Consulate of Application. Most UWF students will apply at the Consulate of France in Miami. Appointments for visa application should be made no later than 6 weeks before your scheduled departure. Tentative Application date for Fall/year in France is July 15; for spring, December 15. If students are able to make their appointments during November, this will decrease the possibilities of delays with visa processing over the winter holidays.
